Licensing Policy Overview

General Licensing Terms

All OpencartPlus OpenCart Extensions: - Are 100% open-source and belong to you indefinitely. - Include a single domain license by default. - Provide 3 months by default (you can 6-12-24 months) of free Premium Support and updates. - Renewing the license extends access to Premium Support and updates. - Can be offered under the following licenses: - Single-Domain - Up to 3-5-10 Domains License - Unlimited Domains - Developer License

Prohibited Actions:

  • Licensing, sub-licensing, selling, or swapping the modules for other products.
  • Extracting components or reverse engineering.
  • Reselling products as your own.
  • Changing the name of the products.
  • Removing watermarks, branding of OpenCartPlus inside extensions.

Licensing Agreement Details

This legal agreement between you and OPC (d.b.a. OpencartPlus) covers the use of OpencartPlus software products and services, including extensions, templates, and services sold via OpencartPlus.com or OpenCart.com. By purchasing these products, you agree to be bound by this licensing agreement, effective upon the moment of purchase or receipt.

Terms by License Type

Single-Domain License

  • Allows usage on one OpenCart installation or one multi-store setup under a single domain.
  • You can use the product for your own purposes or for a single client.
  • You must register the product and the domains where it is used on your OpencartPlus profile.
  • You cannot incorporate the product into a product for resale, nor sub-license, sell, or share the product.
  • Reverse engineering or renaming the product for resale is prohibited.

Up to Three Domains License

  • Allows usage on up to Three different domains or OpenCart installations.
  • Similar conditions to the Single-Domain License apply, including registration requirements and usage restrictions.

Up to Five Domains License

  • Allows usage on up to five different domains or OpenCart installations.
  • Similar conditions to the Single-Domain License apply, including registration requirements and usage restrictions.

Up to Ten Domains License

  • Allows usage on up to five different domains or OpenCart installations.
  • Similar conditions to the Single-Domain License apply, including registration requirements and usage restrictions.

Unlimited Domains License

  • Grants the right to use the product on unlimited domains.
  • Usage for yourself or for one client is permitted.
  • Registration of domains and products on your OpencartPlus profile is required.
  • You cannot sub-license, sell, or reverse-engineer the product.

Developer License

  • Suitable for design agencies or developers.
  • Allows usage on unlimited domains and the ability to charge for product integration.
  • You cannot sell or claim ownership of the product's source code.

Vendor Licenses

  • Some products in the OpencartPlus marketplace are developed by third-party vendors and may have different licensing policies.

Policy Changes

OpencartPlus reserves the right to amend the terms of this license agreement at any time without notification. Legal action may be pursued in the case of non-compliance with the terms.
